Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 1.1%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 1.1% in January-May 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises produced about 26.5 billion kW / h of electricity.

Also in January-May, Uzbekistan produced 13.84 million Gcal of heat energy, which is 1.4% more compared to the same period of 2018.
