Uzbekistan increases car production by 49.6% in January-July

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced more than 147,650 cars in January-July 2019, which is 49.6% higher compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased by 55.1% in the reporting period - up to 2985 units.

In January-July 2019, Uzbekistan produced 1,095 buses, which is 3.6 times more compared to the same period of 2018.

The production of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-July 2019 made up 114,560. The growth compared to January 2018 was 62.4%.

In January-July 2019, the volume of tractor production reached 797 units, which is 66.9% less compared to the same period of 2018.
