Uzbekistan increases car production by 49.5% in January-August

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced about 172,750 cars in January-August 2019, which is 49.5% higher compared to the same period in 2018.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased by 40.5% in the reporting period - up to 3450 units.

The production of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-August 2019 amounted to 131,000. The growth compared to January-August 2018 was 53.5%.

In January-August 2019, the volume of tractor production amounted to 983 units, which is 60.4% less compared to the same period in 2018.
