Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased production of petroleum by 5% in January-August 2018 to 764,100 tonnes, the State Statistics Committee said.
In the reporting period, the volume of production of diesel fuel reached 730,100 tonnes, which grew by 14% compared to the same period of 2017.
At the same time, Uzbekistan decreased oil mining by 9.9% in January-August 2018 compared to the same period of 2017 – to 499,500 tonnes.
Extraction of natural gas exceeded 34.33 billion cubic meters in January-August 2018, which rose by 6.6% year-on-year.
Uzbekistan mined over 1.4 million tonnes of gas condensate in January-August 2018, which grew by 14.3% year-on-year.
