Uzbekistan Imports Over 40,000 Electric Vehicles in First Nine Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first nine months of 2025, more than 40,000 electric vehicles were imported into Uzbekistan from 16 foreign countries, the National Statistics Committee reported.

According to the agency, the total value of the imports amounted to 473 million U.S. dollars.

Compared to the same period last year, imports increased nearly 2.5 times, or by 24,140 units.

China remains the largest supplier, with 39,798 electric vehicles, followed by Hong Kong with 249 units, South Korea with 165, Germany with 43, the United States with 25, and other countries supplying a total of 65 vehicles.
