Uzbekistan Imports 115,000 Pairs of Shoes from 28 Countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported 115,300 pairs of shoes from 28 countries in January and February 2026, with a total value of US$1.7 million.

Compared with the same period in 2025, the volume of imports decreased by 19,500 pairs, or 14.5%.

The main suppliers were China with 94,600 pairs, Vietnam with 5,200 pairs, Turkey with 3,400 pairs, India with 2,500 pairs, and Indonesia with 2,000 pairs.

The remaining countries accounted for 7,600 pairs.
