Uzbekistan Implements US$28 Million Pigment Paint Production Project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A government commission visited the ZHONGTIAN SILICON CHEMICAL plant, where a US$28 million project for the production of pigment paints is being implemented.

Launched in 2025 and financed through foreign direct investment, the project occupies 3.6 hectares and has an annual design capacity of 10,000 tons of products, creating 130 new jobs.

During the visit, the company’s management highlighted two key issues requiring resolution: finalizing the contract for the land acquired through an auction and relocating a high-voltage power line that runs through the plant’s territory.

The government commission instructed the relevant agencies to address these matters promptly, emphasizing that timely resolution of land and infrastructure issues directly affects the potential for expanding production capacity, as well as the safety and sustainability of the project.

Support for such initiatives is considered a priority of state policy, aimed at attracting foreign direct investment and promoting industrial cooperation.
