Uzbekistan Implements Over 600 Joint Projects with CIS and EAEU Partners Worth US$70 Billion
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan, together with its partners from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), is implementing more than 600 industrial cooperation projects totaling approximately US$70 billion, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov announced.
“In cooperation with partners from the CIS and the EAEU, significant industrial cooperation projects are being carried out in the real sector of the economy. The total portfolio exceeds 600 joint projects worth US$70 billion,” Aripov said at the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom” in Minsk.
The Prime Minister noted that the exhibition features over 150 high-quality products manufactured by Uzbek enterprises. According to him, one of the most effective platforms for developing such cooperation has been the annual international exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” in Tashkent, which this year brought together more than 11,000 participants from 35 countries for the fifth time.
During the events, agreements were reached on projects and trade deals worth over US$5 billion. “We are ready to continue developing cooperation with our partners and welcome their active participation in the ‘Innoprom’ events in Tashkent,” emphasized the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan.
