Uzbekistan Implements Nearly 10,000 Investment Projects Worth US12.6 Billion in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Uzbekistan implemented 9,868 investment projects across industry, services, and agriculture, totaling US$12.6 billion, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.

This represents a 41.6 percent increase compared to 2024, when the value of launched projects amounted to US$8.9 billion.

As a result of these projects, 288,600 new jobs were created in the country’s economy, exceeding the previous year’s figure of 257,300 by 12.2 percent.

Industry contributed the largest share of total investments, with US$6.0 billion allocated, accounting for 48 percent of the total. The services sector also received a significant portion, with investments of US$5.5 billion, or 44 percent of the total. In agriculture, implemented projects amounted to US$1.1 billion, representing roughly 8 percent of all investments.

A key driver of sustainable growth was the stimulation of domestic demand. The volume of localized products reached 100 trillion soums by the end of the year, reflecting both the expansion of domestic production and increased consumption of locally made goods.
