Uzbekistan, Hungary hold political consultations
At the meeting, the Uzbek delegation met with the State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Zsolt Nemeth and discussed current state and perspective directions of deepening bilateral relations in politics, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Currently, Uzbekistan and Hungary created necessary legal base and the sides accrued significant positive experience in interaction at various level, including state and public structures, business circles, civil society.
The sides also considered implementation of agreements, reached within the Uzbek-Hungarian meeting at high level in November 2011 in Tashkent.
It was noted that creation of “Hungary-Uzbekistan” friendship group at National Assembly of Hungary led by vice speaker Sándor Lezsák will boost inter-parliamentary contacts.
It was stated that the sides interested in further expansion of investment cooperation, creation of joint high technological production in such areas as pharmaceutics, chemistry, textile and agriculture.
During the consultations, the sides considered international and regional issues.
