Uzbekistan Hosts 251 Enterprises with British Capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 February 2026, Uzbekistan has 251 active enterprises with British capital, the press service of the National Statistics Committee reported.

Of these, 122 are joint ventures, while 129 are wholly foreign-owned companies.

The highest concentration of businesses with British capital is in the capital: Tashkent hosts 190 such enterprises. Tashkent Region has 15 companies.

Samarkand Region and Syrdarya Region each have eight enterprises, Jizzakh Region has six, and Bukhara Region has five.

Four enterprises are registered in both Kashkadarya Region and Surkhandarya Region.

Andijan Region and Fergana Region each have three enterprises with British participation, while the Republic of Karakalpakstan has two.

Namangan Region, Navoiy Region, and Khorezm Region each host one enterprise.
