Uzbekistan hikes electricity prices for population

Prices for electricity for population grew in Uzbekistan from 1 October 2011. The growth rate made up 8.97%.
From 1 October, the cost of 1 kilowatt per hour electricity rose from 83.6 soums to 91.1 soums.
The price for 1 kilowatt per hour electricity for houses, equipped with electric range increased from 41.8 soums to 45.55 soums.
Last time, prices for electricity in Uzbekistan increased on 1 April 2011.
