Uzbekistan Havo Yollari starts winter flight schedule
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) launched the winter flight schedule. During this period, the airline will operate flights from Uzbekistan to 24 countries of the world in 64 international destinations. Local flights will include 8 destinations.
Compared to the previous season, the frequency of international flights was significantly increased. In particular, the number of flights from one of the most popular destinations Tashkent-Moscow increased to 27 flights per week, and in total with flights to Moscow from Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Termez, Namangan and Ferghana reach 49 flights per week.
Also, in the winter schedule includes an additional flight to St. Petersburg from Samarkand. Uzbek airlines fly from Tashkent to the northern capital of Russia 5 times a week.
Among the cities of the CIS countries, the airline will fly from Tashkent to Dushanbe and Rostov - 2 times a week. Flights from Tashkent to Bishkek and Minsk are available to passengers three times a week.
As for the cities of foreign countries, one of the most popular destinations among Uzbeks is Turkey. In the winter period, the schedule includes 10 flights from Tashkent to Istanbul and 2 flights from Samarkand. Not less in demand is the flight from Tashkent to Seoul, in the direction of which 7 flights a week are included in the winter schedule.
With the start of winter navigation, Uzbekistan Airways introduces new regular flights to a number of cities: these are 3 regular flights a week to Jeddah (only charter flights were previously operated), 3 times a week to Mumbai and once a week on Saturdays to Vladivostok.
Code-sharing agreements with Turkish Airlines, Alitalia, S7 Airlines, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Belavia, Air Baltic, Ural Airlines continue to operate. In addition, passenger electronic Interline agreements with 37 airlines around the world are in operation, thanks to which the route network of Uzbekistan Airways significantly expands and passengers are provided with a list of travel destinations taking into account connecting flights of partner airlines.
