Uzbekistan Harvests Nearly 2 Million Tons of Grapes in 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Uzbekistan produced nearly 2 million tons of grapes, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee. The total harvest amounted to 1,983,039 tons, representing a 7.6% increase compared to 2024.

By region, Samarkand remains the leading grape producer with 696,952 tons. Significant contributions were also recorded in Bukhara with 241,389 tons, Fergana with 229,063 tons, and Namangan with 167,333 tons.

Other notable regional outputs included Qashqadaryo with 131,708 tons, Tashkent region with 102,198 tons, Navoi with 99,389 tons, Surkhandarya with 94,443 tons, and Andijan with 92,057 tons.

Smaller harvests were reported in Khorezm (55,079 tons), Jizzakh (38,374 tons), and Syrdarya (18,681 tons).

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, grape production reached 16,236 tons, while the capital, Tashkent, recorded 137 tons.
