Uzbekistan Harvests 13.7 Million Tons of Vegetables in 2025, Up 1.2%
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Andijan Region led Uzbekistan’s regional ranking for vegetable production in 2025.
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 13.7 million tons of vegetables were grown across all types of farms in the country, marking a 1.2% increase compared to 2024.
Andijan Region contributed the largest share to the total harvest, producing 2,089,165 tons of vegetables.
Samarkand Region ranked second with 1,686,136 tons, followed by Fergana Region in third place with 1,616,016 tons.
Next in production volumes were Surkhandarya Region with 1,451,656 tons, Tashkent Region with 1,378,833 tons, Bukhara Region with 1,190,463 tons, and Namangan Region with 1,163,885 tons.
Khorezm Region produced 737,123 tons, Kashkadarya Region 663,909 tons, and Jizzakh Region 559,047 tons. The Republic of Karakalpakstan harvested 419,043 tons, Navoi Region 413,048 tons, and Syrdarya Region 352,921 tons.
In the city of Tashkent, vegetable production reached 1,557 tons.
