Uzbekistan Girls’ Boxing Team Tops CIS Games Medal Table in Azerbaijan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan girls’ boxing team dominated the medal standings at the CIS Games held in Azerbaijan.

In the final competitions, Uzbek athletes delivered a perfect performance, claiming five gold medals.

The gold medalists were Nazokat Mardonova (50 kg), Sabina Mirzaeva (52 kg), Qumriniso Muhammadova (54 kg), Farzuna Rozieva (57 kg), and Rushanabonu Isoyeva (63 kg).

Bronze medals were won by Rukhshonabonu Akhadova (46 kg), Shahnazabonu Imomalieva (48 kg), Mehrimakh Qilicheva (60 kg), and Ulbosin Zhalgasbaeva (66 kg).

With a total of five golds and four bronzes, Uzbekistan significantly outpaced its competitors in the overall team standings. Kazakhstan finished second with two golds and five bronzes, while Azerbaijan and Russia took third and fourth places, respectively.
