Uzbekistan, Germany discuss socio-economic revival of Afghanistan

On 17 July 2018, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Gunther Overfield at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Ministry, during the conversation, the sides considered practical issues of Uzbekistan – Germany cooperation on assisting the socio-economic revival of Afghanistan.
At the meeting, the parties also discussed the other issues of mutual interest.
