Uzbekistan Freestyle Wrestling Championship Kicks Off in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Freestyle Wrestling Championship is underway at the “Olympic Village,” bringing together the country’s top athletes from all regions.

On the first day, winners and medalists were determined among men in five weight categories. The champions are:

Asadbek Saidturaev (up to 57 kg),
Sanjarbek Rustambekov (up to 65 kg),
Begijon Kuldashev (up to 74 kg),
Bobur Islamov (up to 86 kg),
Otabek Nazirboev (up to 97 kg).

The competition continues, with medals in the remaining weight categories to be contested in the coming days.
