Uzbekistan FM Meets South Korean Ambassador in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 March 2026, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Won Do Yeon.

During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the immediate agenda for bilateral cooperation and emphasized the need to further activate collaboration to fully realize the potential of Uzbekistan–South Korea relations.

Special attention was given to the sustainable and trust-based nature of the partnership between the two countries.

The participants also highlighted the importance of timely and effective implementation of previously agreed arrangements.
