Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan welcomes the agreement of the leaders of Afghanistan on the formation of an inclusive negotiation team and sees this as a decisive step towards a peaceful resolution of the domestic political crisis.

It is extremely important at this stage to implement the agreements reached earlier on a ceasefire and violence, the transition to a nationwide inter-Afghan dialogue with the participation of all interested parties, including the Taliban.

Uzbekistan reiterates its strong commitment to further develop and strengthen relations of friendship and good neighborliness with the people of Afghanistan and in every way support the process of establishing durable and long-term peace in the country.
