Uzbekistan Fines “1FIT” for Misleading Advertising

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Competition Committee has announced a financial penalty for LLC “1FIT” for violating advertising legislation.

During routine monitoring, it was found that the company’s promotional materials posted on social media contained exaggerated and misleading statements.

As a result, the Committee’s Special Commission initiated a case against LLC “1FIT” and decided to impose a fine. The company was also instructed to correct the identified violations and ensure they do not occur in the future.

According to the law, parties disagreeing with the Special Commission’s decision have the right to appeal to the Committee’s Appellate Council or seek judicial review.
