Uzbekistan exports US$1.2 billion worth of gold in January-May.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan exported more than US$1.19 billion worth of gold in January-May 2021, according to the data of the State Statistics Committee.

At the same time, the volume of gold exports compared to the same period in 2020 decreased by 27.2% (in January-May 2020 - US$1.64 billion).

The share of gold in total exports of Uzbekistan in January-May 2021 amounted to 20.8%. Goods accounted for 63.9% of Uzbekistan’s exports and services - 15.3%.
