Uzbekistan exports shoes for US$14.1 million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2021, Uzbekistan exported shoes to 12 foreign countries in the amount of US$14.1 million, the State Committee on Statistics said.

This is US$3.8 million less than in the same period of last year.

Exporting countries of footwear from Uzbekistan in January-June 2021:

Kyrgyz Republic - US$8.1 million

Kazakhstan - US$3.3 million

Tajikistan - US$1.9 million

Russia - US$335,300

Afghanistan – 295,600

Regions that exported the largest number of shoes to foreign countries in January-June 2021: 

Samarkand region – US$5.1 million

Andijan region – US$3.5 million

Ferghana region – US$3.5 million

Tashkent region – US$590,600
