Uzbekistan Exports Pomegranates, Quince, and Persimmons to the UK for the First Time

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of a new shipment of Uzbek agricultural products, pomegranates, quince, and persimmons were delivered to the United Kingdom for the first time, the Dunyо News Agency reports.

The total shipment amounted to 3 tons and was transported via Uzbekistan Airways on the Tashkent–London route. The exporter was Quva-Agro Star LLC.

British wholesale buyers praised the high quality and flavor of the Uzbek fruits and expressed readiness to purchase them in larger volumes.

Currently, Uzbek enterprises export more than 35 types of agricultural products to the United Kingdom.

Over the first ten months of 2025, exports of Uzbek fruits and vegetables to the UK increased 2.5 times compared to the same period last year.
