Uzbekistan Exports 8,800 Tons of Peppers Worth US$6.9 Million in Eight Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first eight months of 2025, Uzbekistan exported 8,800 tons of peppers valued at US$6.9 million, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee.

The main destinations were countries in Central Asia and Europe. Kazakhstan received the largest share, with 4,700 tons, followed by significant shipments to Kyrgyzstan (1,900 tons) and Spain (1,100 tons).

Approximately 400 tons were exported to Russia, with an additional 700 tons sent to other countries.

Overall, Uzbek pepper exports from January to August reached 16 countries worldwide.
