Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 June 2020, 342.5 tonnes of melon worth US$264,100 were exported abroad.

In May, a total of 186.6 tonnes of melon were exported. This share falls on the share of fresh melons grown in the current year.

Today, Uzbek melon is in high demand in the markets of Russia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.

It is noteworthy that as of 1, June 2020, 159.0 tonnes of melon were exported to Russia. This is 154.5 tonnes more than the same period of last year.
