Uzbekistan Explores Space Collaboration with Axiom Space

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official visit to the United States, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, met with representatives of Axiom Space — Senior Director for International Government Relations Harvey McIntosh and Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Noor Ward — to discuss opportunities for deepening cooperation in the space sector.

The meeting focused on the development of space technologies and scientific research in Uzbekistan, as well as prospects for expanding international collaboration. Particular attention was given to potential participation in space missions, the implementation of orbital technologies, and support for scientific studies.

Additionally, Axiom Space confirmed its readiness to cooperate with Uzbekistan and announced its intention to participate as a platinum sponsor at the Space Technology Conference (STC) 2026, which will be held in Tashkent from 30 March to 1 April 2026.
