Uzbekistan Explores Mining Opportunities with Cauldron Energy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 March 2026, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology, Ural Yusupov, held a meeting with Cauldron Energy’s CEO, Jonothon Fisher.

During the talks, the deputy minister provided a detailed overview of the current state of Uzbekistan’s mining sector and the key reforms being implemented in the industry.

Special attention was given to the new version of the “Subsoil Law,” adopted in 2024, which aims to increase transparency for investors and create favorable conditions for cooperation with foreign companies.

Cauldron Energy representatives expressed strong interest in engaging with the ministry and its affiliated enterprises, highlighting opportunities to expand joint projects and investment in Uzbekistan’s mining sector.
