Uzbekistan Explores Gulf Cooperation in Diplomatic Talks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 23 March 2026, Bahromjon Aloev met with heads of diplomatic missions from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait accredited in Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for further developing comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Arab states of the Persian Gulf.

Particular attention was given to expanding collaboration within the framework of the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council Dialogue” format.

The participants also exchanged views on current regional issues, including the ongoing situation in the Middle East.
