Uzbekistan Explores Advanced Geophysical Technologies for Extreme Well Conditions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” continues its familiarization visits to China to study modern technologies in the oil and gas sector.

At one of Xi’an’s leading scientific and production centers, specialists from the Uzbek company examined cutting-edge geophysical technologies capable of operating under extreme thermobaric conditions in wells.

Particular attention was paid to digital methods for manufacturing complex sensors and components for geophysical equipment. Using a pressure electric sensor as an example, the possibilities of 3D printing with specialized metal powders were demonstrated, allowing for complete restoration of previously used parts and significantly optimizing production processes.

Additionally, the delegation studied an automated system for assessing equipment defects using scanning and analytical methods, enabling timely detection of potential malfunctions.

During the visit, prospects for implementing modern software suites and digital databases at JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” were also discussed. These tools are expected to open new opportunities for enhancing efficiency in geophysical research and hydrocarbon extraction.
