Uzbekistan, Eximbank of Korea hold negotiations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 April 2019, negotiations were held between representatives of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the leadership of Eximbank of Korea, one of the strategic financial partners of the republic.

The meeting was held with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Elyor Ganiev, Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov, as well as heads of the Ministry of Health, the National Bank of Uzbekistan and the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to South Korea.

The subject of discussion was a number of large-scale projects in the industrial, infrastructure, information and communication, and social spheres: specific agreements were reached defining the basic parameters of the projects and the amount of funding allocated, which is a strong and realistic basis for the development of further partnerships.

Relevant documents are planned to be signed during the Uzbek-Korean business forum with the participation of the heads of two states, held on 19 April in Tashkent.
