Uzbekistan excludes 77 projects from localization programme

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan excluded 77 projects from the programme of localization of production of ready goods, spare parts and materials on 12 February 2016.

The resolution said that the projects were excluded from the programme for failure to deliver localization level, deep processing of local products and import-replacement, as well as saturation of internal market with similar products, produced by other enterprises.

Projects of Uzmetkombinat, enterprises of Uzavtosanoat, Uzeltekhsanoat, Uzpharmsanoat and others were excluded from the programme.
