Uzbekistan Establishes International “Heritage of the Future” Award
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has established the international award “Heritage of the Future.” The award is designed to support and recognize outstanding figures both within the country and abroad in the fields of literature, culture, arts, science, education, and digital technologies.
According to the presidential decree, the initiative aims to encourage the contributions of creative and scientific personalities to the development of national and global values, as well as to promote cultural and educational progress.
Starting in 2025, the competition for the award will be held annually across seven categories: literature; cultural heritage; theater and cinema; music and dance; visual and applied arts; fashion and design; and science, education, and digital technologies.
Winners in each category will receive a statuette, a diploma, and a cash prize of US$10,000.
