Uzbekistan Establishes “Green Initiatives” Support Fund under the Youth Affairs Agency

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — By Resolution No. 631 of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 8 October 2025, the Regulations on the “Green Initiatives” Support Fund under the Youth Affairs Agency have been approved.

The document defines the procedures for forming and using the Fund’s resources, management mechanisms, financial distribution, as well as accounting and reporting requirements.

The Fund’s resources will be directed toward fostering environmental awareness among young people and supporting projects that contribute to environmental protection. Special attention will be given to initiatives related to the implementation of clean technologies, waste recycling, the use of renewable energy, and increasing youth participation in ensuring the country’s ecological sustainability.

Additionally, funding will be provided for greening projects, including tree planting and maintenance.

Expenditure of the Fund’s resources will be carried out in accordance with the approved budget of revenues and expenses.
