Uzbekistan Establishes Association of Personal Mobility and Bicycle Operators

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has established the Association of Personal Mobility and Bicycle Operators, which will protect the interests of market participants and help develop unified rules for the functioning of the sector, according to the press service of the Tashkent hokimiyat.

The new organization will operate as a non-profit industry platform, bringing together companies working in micromobility and bicycle infrastructure.

The Association will coordinate market participants with government authorities, develop standards and operating rules, facilitate the exchange of expert knowledge, and promote innovative solutions for sustainable urban transport.

To ensure effective operations, a permanent working platform will be created to coordinate operators, analyze data, and collaboratively address practical industry issues with businesses and government bodies.
