Uzbekistan establishes an honourable badge for donors

The decision was adopted to develop blood donation and attract population to blood donation.

The badge will be handed over annually on 14 June – World Blood Donor Day. The citizens, who donated blood for 40 times and its components for 60 times, can receive the badge. One person can be awarded only once.

Foreign citizens can receive the badge. The badge is awarded in line with the order of the Health minister of Uzbekistan.

The breastplate will be produced from copper alloy. The badge has a semi-oval shape, base of which is 280 mm, height - 320 mm, thickness - 3 mm.
