Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 2 April, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan held a video conference with the vice president of Mitsubishi Corporation, K. Ota, and a number of company employees responsible for cooperation with Uzbekistan.

The meeting discussed in detail the current state of implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan with the participation of a Japanese company, as well as prospects for bilateral cooperation.

An exchange of views took place on measures taken by both parties in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection, as well as on the possible negative impact of the epidemic on the implementation of ongoing joint projects.

The parties assured each other of their commitment to timely and high-quality implementation of projects, especially the agreements reached following the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan in December 2019.

The vice-president of the Japanese company assured that Mitsubishi Corporation will make every effort for the high-quality and full-fledged implementation of joint projects.
