Uzbekistan, EIB discuss cooperation issues

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the experts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Trade, State Invetsment Committee, Prosecutor-General’s Office, Center for coordination and development of the securities market, Department for combating tax, currency crimes and legalization of criminal incomes under the Prosecutor-General’s Office took part in the event.

During the event, the experts considered a draft framework agreement on EIB activities on the territory of Uzbekistan.

As a result of the discussion, the parties reached an agreement on intensifying the work on the procedure for the internal harmonization of the draft of the above-mentioned Agreement and preparing it for signing.

The sides also agreed to hold another round of negotiations on the draft of the Agreement in near future.
