Uzbekistan Drawn into Group with Japan, Tajikistan, and Australia at AFC Futsal Asian Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The group stage draw for the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup, scheduled for January 2026 in Indonesia, has been announced.

Uzbekistan has been placed in Group C alongside four-time champions Japan, Tajikistan, and Australia. The Uzbek national team, which has finished as runner-up in the tournament four times, will aim to break Japan’s dominance and advance to the quarterfinals.

According to the tournament rules, the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
