Uzbekistan Discusses Investment Opportunities with Pakistani Pharmaceutical Company The Searle Company Limited

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of an official visit to Pakistan, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a working meeting with the management of one of the country’s leading pharmaceutical companies, The Searle Company Limited.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed the company’s operations, production capacities, and product portfolio.

It was noted that The Searle Company Limited holds strong positions in the markets for cardiology drugs, anti-infective medicines, central nervous system treatments, vitamins, as well as prescription drugs, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and nutraceuticals.

Particular attention was given to prospects for cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, investment opportunities, and the organization of production within Uzbekistan.

The Agency presented options for the company to enter the Uzbek market, expand participation in the local pharmaceutical industry, and implement joint projects.
