Uzbekistan Discusses Cooperation with Japan’s Ishigaki Company in the Mining Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 November 2025, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan R. Yusupov, together with representatives of the ministry, the heads of the State Institution “Uzbekhydrogeology” and the State Institution “Institute HYDROINGEO,” held a meeting with a delegation from the Japanese company Ishigaki Company Ltd.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of Ishigaki presented the company’s activities, demonstrated the technologies it uses, and shared its experience in international cooperation and innovative solutions in the industry.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the introduction of advanced water treatment technologies at Uzbekistan’s mining and metallurgical enterprises, as well as discussed prospects for implementing joint research and engineering projects.
