Uzbekistan directs 627bn soums to construction of general use roads

Within investment programme for 2015, it was planned to construct and reconstruct 141.6 km of roads of general use. In the first half of 2015, in line with the contracts and approved plans, the works for 218.3 billion soums were conducted and 45.5 km of roads were reconstructed.

Enterprises of Uzavtoyol conducted construction and reconstruction, repair works at the roads of international and general use for 81.4 billion soums. About 24.3 km of automobile roads of general use were repaired.

Uninterrupted work on current repair and exploitation of 42,654 km of roads of Uzbek national highway was continued. About 337.7 billion soums were used in this direction in the first half of 2015.
