Uzbekistan directs 497.3bn soums to roads

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan used financial resources for 497.3 billion soums at objects for construction and reconstruction of automobile roads, which are part of the Uzbek national highway, in January-June 2015, a publication of the Ministry of Economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

According to the publication, Republican Road Fund allocated 297.2 billion soums to these objects in the first half of 2015.

Uzbekistan also used US$80.5 million of foreign loans, attracted under the guarantee of the Government, to construct and reconstruct roads in January-June 2015.
