Uzbekistan Develops Export Guidelines for the EU Market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), has prepared two practical guides aimed at strengthening the export potential of domestic producers and ensuring effective use of the GSP+ trade preferences regime when entering the European Union market.

The newly developed materials include the guides “Exporting Textile Products to the EU Market Using the GSP+ Preferences System” and “Exporting Fruit and Vegetable Products to the EU Market Using the GSP+ Preferences System.”

The publications, available in Russian and Uzbek, provide step-by-step recommendations on meeting EU requirements, rules of origin, logistics and certification issues, export procedures, and other key aspects of entering the European market.

These guides will serve as practical tools for companies seeking to expand their presence in the EU and make full use of the opportunities offered by the GSP+ regime.
