Uzbekistan destroys 2 tonnes of narcotics

Law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan destroyed over 2 tonnes of drugs, which were seized from illegal turnover.
The event was dedicated to the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which is marked on 26 June.
At the blast-furnace of one of Tashkent enterprises, some 22 kg of heroin and 1.15 tonnes of opium, 100 kg of hashish, 384 kg of marihuana, etc.
Large volume of other drugs such as poppy straws, hemp, psychotropic medicaments were also destroyed.
