Uzbekistan delivers to Tajikistan 4.5 million cubic meters of gas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan delivered 4.5 million cubic meters of gas from April to the middle of July,  Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported.

The first deputy of Tajiktransgaz Shavkat Shoimzoda said that the volumes of gas supplies are increasing every month.

The main consumer of gas from Uzbekistan is the Tajik Aluminum Company (TALCO). The company receives about 80% of the total gas supply.
