Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, has begun a working visit to Latvia and Lithuania, starting with a trip to Riga.

In the first part of the program, the Uzbek delegation toured the Riga Central Market, one of the largest trading complexes in Europe. The guests were introduced to modern logistics solutions, highly efficient storage systems, and facilities for product processing. Special attention was given to the operation of vegetable and fruit storage warehouses, specialized areas for legumes, as well as technologies for sorting, packaging, and organizing supply chains.

A business forum with the participation of entrepreneurs from both countries is also scheduled to take place in Riga. The forum will provide a platform for direct negotiations, discussions on cooperation opportunities, and the exploration of promising investment projects.

The second part of the visit will be held in Lithuania. In Vilnius, a meeting of the Uzbek‑Lithuanian Business Council is planned to discuss ways to further strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries.
