Uzbekistan creates 88 large construction organizations

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On measures on further developing construction organizations and strengthening their material-technical bases”.

Uzbek leader approved a programme on forming large specialized construction contractor organizations in 2014-2016, equipped with modern production-technical base.

Within the programme, Uzbekistan will create 88 large construction organizations and 229 production bases, equipped with 2,100 units of construction technical and equipment.

The resolution said that purchase of new equipment will be carried out through newly created Republican specialized companies on leasing of construction equipment.

According to the document, currently 1,900 construction-contractor organizations are included to registrar of construction-contractor organizations in Uzbekistan.
