Uzbekistan Continues Negotiations with Major U.S. Corporations and Financial Institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbekistani delegation headed by Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov is continuing a series of meetings and negotiations in the United States with leading corporations, financial institutions, and representatives of the U.S. government.

The discussions are centered on issues of strategic partnership, infrastructure and energy development, as well as the expansion of investment cooperation.

Particular emphasis is being placed on the modernization of the transport system, including road and aviation projects, the development of energy transmission and distribution networks, and industrial cooperation in mechanical engineering, agricultural machinery, and new technologies.

In the financial sphere, new instruments and mechanisms of cooperation with international banks and payment systems are under consideration.

Uzbekistan’s working group is maintaining an active dialogue with key corporations and financial institutions aimed at strengthening long-term partnerships and implementing joint projects.
