Uzbekistan constructs, reconstruct over 107 reclamation objects

Uzbekistan carried out construction and reconstruction of 107 reclamation objects in nine months of 2010, a publication of the Ministry of Economy and the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
Due to Funds of land-reclamation of irrigated lands, reconstruction and construction of 401.2 km of collector-drainage networks, 109.5 km closed drainage networks, 4 land-reclamation pump stations, 144 land-reclamation and 200 observation wells, and one hydraulic structure.
The works on cleaning of over 11,300 km of collector-drainage networks, which improved land-reclamation condition at 240,000 hectares of irrigated lands.
